In the next steps we will configure your router in such a way that the router allows Zultrax P2P to accept incoming connections. For this we need first to look up the port number used by Zultrax P2P. By default this port number is set to 6346 but it could be that you changed this number.
Zultrax P2P can help you to find the port number. In the menu tools choose system info. This will display a page of information with various details about the program amonst which port. Write the given number for port down, you'll need it later.

Exit Zultrax P2P. Don't leave the program running while you are performing the actions below. Leaving the program running might give you false indiciations that your actions where not succesfull.

Open a webbrowser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera). Enter the IP address of your router in the address bar of the browser and press enter. The IP address of your router is by default 172.16.0.1
|

Click on the button firewall.

Click on the button firewall settings.

Choose a computer to forward ports to in the select a computer box. This box contains a list of all computers on your network. If you do have only one computer connected it shows only that computer.

Click the link add a new user-defined application.

You see a page named Edit Application. Enter the field as follows: | Application Name | Zultrax | | Protocol | TCP | | Port or range (from) | The port number you wrote down earlier | | Port or range (to) | The port number you wrote down earlier | | Protocol timeout (secs) | 86400 | | Map to host port | Leave this field empty | | Application type | None | | |

Click on the button add definition.

Click on the button back.

Select Zultrax in the applications list and click the add button to move it to the box hosted applications.

Click on the button done. You find this button on the bottom of the page.

Your 2Wire 2701HG-T router is configured now. You forwarded a port for Zultrax P2P. You can start Zultrax P2P and you will see incoming connections coming up. This might be not immediatly after start up but within minutes you should see at least some incoming connections. The program will adapt itself to the new configuration.
