In the next steps we will configure your router in such a way that the router allows Zultrax P2P to accept incoming connections. Your router is designed to serve multiple computers and of course multiple programs. Even if there is only one computer connected we will later on need two bits of information:
- The local IP of your computer
- The port used by Zultrax P2P
|

Zultrax P2P can help you to find those two bits of information. In the menu tools choose system info. This will display a page of information with various details about the program amonst which Local IP and port. Write those 2 down, you'll need them later.
It is the Local IP we are looking for, do not confuse the Local IP with the Public IP that is also shown on this system info page.

Exit Zultrax P2P. Don't leave the program running while you are performing the actions below. Leaving the program running might give you false indiciations that your actions where not succesfull.

Open a webbrowser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera). Enter the IP address of your router in the address bar of the browser and press enter. The IP address of your router is by default 192.168.200.254
|

You see a box asking your username and password. By default the username for your 3Com 3CP4130 router is admin and the password is 1234
Enter your username and password and click the ok button to continue.

Click the link configuration.
You find this link on the left of the page.

Click on the button remote site profiles.
You find this button on the center of the page.

A page is shown with your internet connections. Normally you just have one connection, so only one option is shown. Click this one and then click Modify.

Click on the button next.
You find this button on the bottom of the page.

Click the TCP button. A new page will be displayed.
|

You see a page named Static TCP port add. Enter the field as follows: | Public TCP Port | The port number you wrote down earlier | | Private IP Address | The local IP you wrote down earlierTCP | | Private TCP Port | The port number you wrote down earlier | | |

Click on the button add.

Click on the button save configuration.
You find this button on the left of the page.

Your 3Com 3CP4130 router is configured now. You forwarded a port for Zultrax P2P. You can start Zultrax P2P and you will see incoming connections coming up. This might be not immediatly after start up but within minutes you should see at least some incoming connections. The program will adapt itself to the new configuration.
