Port forwarding

Zultrax P2P needs to have access to the internet. In order to make optimal use of your connection Zultrax P2P needs to be capable of making outgoing connections and accepting incoming connections.

For the outgoing connections no special action is needed. For allowing incoming connections your router needs to be instructed to forward a port. For your Linksys BEFSR81 router follow the steps below to do so.

Other programs

The steps listed below help you to forward a port for Zultrax P2P. Some other software, e.g. some on-line games, also require you to forward a port. Each program requests its own port number. If you know which port number a program requests, you can use the steps listed below and forward a port for that program the same way.
