In the next steps we will configure your router in such a way that the router allows Zultrax P2P to accept incoming connections. For this we need first to look up the port number used by Zultrax P2P. By default this port number is set to 6346 but it could be that you changed this number.
Zultrax P2P can help you to find the port number. In the menu tools choose system info. This will display a page of information with various details about the program amonst which port. Write the given number for port down, you'll need it later.

Exit Zultrax P2P. Don't leave the program running while you are performing the actions below. Leaving the program running might give you false indiciations that your actions where not succesfull.

Open a webbrowser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera). Enter the IP address of your router in the address bar of the browser and press enter. The IP address of your router is by default 192.168.1.1

You see a box asking your username and password. By default the username for your Linksys BEFSR81 router is blank and the password is admin
Enter your username and password and click the ok button to continue.

Click the button advanced.
You find this button on the top of the page.

The menu near the top will change. Select filters in the new menu.

Put a dot into the block wan request disable radio button.
|

Click the button apply.

Click the button forwarding.
You find this button on the top of the page.

You see a page titled Port Range Forwarding. Find the first free row and enter the fields as follows: | Cust. Application | Zultrax P2P | | Ext port (from) | The port number you wrote down earlier | | Ext port (to) | Again the port number you wrote down earlier | | Protocol TCP | Put a checkmark in this field to enable | | Protocol UDP | Put a checkmark in this field to enable | | IP Address | The local IP address you wrote down earlier | | Enable | Put a checkmark in this field to enable | | |

Click the button apply.

Your Linksys BEFSR81 router is configured now. You forwarded a port for Zultrax P2P. You can start Zultrax P2P and you will see incoming connections coming up. This might be not immediatly after start up but within minutes you should see at least some incoming connections. The program will adapt itself to the new configuration.
