Forward a port
For optimal performance Zultrax P2P needs to be capable of accepting incoming connections. Your Philips SNA6640-00 router by default blocks incoming connections unless a port is forwarded. Follow the steps listed below to forward a port for Zultrax P2P.

Other programs
The steps listed below help you to forward a port for Zultrax P2P. Some other software, e.g. some on-line games, also require you to forward a port. Each program requests its own port number. If you know which port number a program requests, you can use the steps listed below and forward a port for that program the same way.

In the next steps we will configure your router in such a way that the router allows Zultrax P2P to accept incoming connections. For this we need first to look up the port number used by Zultrax P2P. By default this port number is set to 6346 but it could be that you changed this number.
Zultrax P2P can help you to find the port number. In the menu tools choose system info. This will display a page of information with various details about the program amonst which port. Write the given number for port down, you'll need it later.

Exit Zultrax P2P. Don't leave the program running while you are performing the actions below. Leaving the program running might give you false indiciations that your actions where not succesfull.

Open a webbrowser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera). Enter the IP address of your router in the address bar of the browser and press enter. The IP address of your router is by default 192.168.1.1
|

Click the link advanced settings.

A new menu is displayed. In this menu click nat

Click the link virtual server.

Your Philips SNA6640-00 router is configured now. You forwarded a port for Zultrax P2P. You can start Zultrax P2P and you will see incoming connections coming up. This might be not immediatly after start up but within minutes you should see at least some incoming connections. The program will adapt itself to the new configuration.
