In the next steps we will configure your router in such a way that the router allows Zultrax P2P to accept incoming connections. Your router is designed to serve multiple computers and of course multiple programs. Even if there is only one computer connected we will later on need two bits of information:
- The local IP of your computer
- The port used by Zultrax P2P
|

Zultrax P2P can help you to find those two bits of information. In the menu tools choose system info. This will display a page of information with various details about the program amonst which Local IP and port. Write those 2 down, you'll need them later.
It is the Local IP we are looking for, do not confuse the Local IP with the Public IP that is also shown on this system info page.

Exit Zultrax P2P. Don't leave the program running while you are performing the actions below. Leaving the program running might give you false indiciations that your actions where not succesfull.

Open a webbrowser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera). Enter the IP address of your router in the address bar of the browser and press enter. The IP address of your router is by default 192.168.1.1
|

You see a box asking your username and password. By default the username for your UT Starcom AR7RD router is admin and the password is utstar
Enter your username and password and click the ok button to continue.

Click on the button advanced.
You find this button on the top of the page.

Click on the button port forwarding.
You find this button on the left of the page.

Click the link custom port forwarding.
You find this link on the right of the page.

You see a page titled Custom Port Forwarding. Enter the fields as follows: | Connection | Select one of the available connections | | Source IP Address | 0.0.0.0 | | Destinatlion IP Address | The local IP address you wrote down earlier | | Destination Port Start | The port number you wrote down earlier | | Destination Port Map | Again the port number you wrote down earlier | | Enable | Put a checkmark to enable | | Protocol | TCP | | Source Netmask | 0.0.0.0 | | Destination Netmask | 255.255.255.255 | | Destination Port End | Again the port number you wrote down earlier | | |

Select Zultrax in the available rules list and click the add > button to move it to the box applied rules.

Your UT Starcom AR7RD router is configured now. You forwarded a port for Zultrax P2P. You can start Zultrax P2P and you will see incoming connections coming up. This might be not immediatly after start up but within minutes you should see at least some incoming connections. The program will adapt itself to the new configuration.
