The installation asks what Internet connection I have. I don't know or mine is not in the list. What to do?
You can choose the option 'I don't know' but better is - if you know - to choose one of the given Internet connections from the list. GrabJPG uses this information for putting a reasonable value for the field 'Threads' in the performance settings. In case you are not sure about your internet connection and you find GrabJPG performing badly (much too slow or eating up too much of your computer resources) you can still change that value yourself. More information on how to do that you'll find in the
manual.

Internet explorer says that you are not a trusted site. Is downloading safe?
Yes. Since Windows XP service pack 2 this message comes when you download from sites that do not apply to the rules Micro$oft dictates. Micro$oft wants us to do things we don't want to do, don't have time for and cannot afford to get rid of this message. If you still don't feel good about it you can also download GrabJPG from one of the many references and shareware libraries that offer the program. You can find them
here.
(As advised by many experts: You could also use another web browser, like
firefox
or
opera
.)

What will you install besides GrabJPG?
Nothing. GrabJPG is as clean as it can be. We strongly dislike programs that install all kind of extra sponsored stuff on your computer and would never do something similar ourselves.

Do I always get the latest version?
Yes, if you downloaded GrabJPG from our site it is always the latest version. Many references also update immediately. Once GrabJPG is installed it will not update itself automatically. You can use "Check for new version" in the menu tools to see if there is a new version. If there is GrabJPG will offer to download and install it.
