Fast image download
You want all pictures of a site or search and want to get them fast. GrabJPG's image download engine takes care.
Multi-threading
GrabJPG makes smart use of Multi-threading to get you your images. You only get an image presented when it is fully downloaded, downloading is done on the background so you don't have to wait for it. GrabJPG has multiple threads running on the background and each is constantly busy searching, scanning webpages or downloading images.
That is simular to what you could do opening up to 60 web browser windows simultaneously and keep them all busy.
Speed
Speed is more than just multi-threading. When you use GrabJPG for a search, for example, you type "Heidi Klum" to see some images of this model. GrabJPG first starts looking in those search engines where it expect the most results, you get the most easy to get files first, and very fast.
As soon as an image is found priority is given to download it. It is also checked, so you won't get the same image twice (or over and over again). And, as you know, a lot what you find in search engines is rubbish. GrabJPG checks first, presenting you only with real, viewable, JPG images.
GrabJPG gets you your images as fast as possible and gives you the best results first.
Working on the background
All of GrabJPG's searching, scanning, spidering and downloading happens on the background. Although you can configure a lot if you wish, you won't be bothered with it. You will just get the results, the images.
We have built a lot of experience into GrabJPG. E.g., if a site has two structures, one named "forum" and one named "gallery", GrabJPG understands that the gallery is the place to look first. The forum can wait till later. But we count, are all the images in the forum and not in the gallery, priortiy is reversed.
