How do I install Zultrax P2P on my computer?
You can download Zultrax P2P from this site. Your web browser will ask you what you want to do with the file, save it to disk or open it. You can do either of them. If you save it to disk, you later will have to open the file by double clicking it. Afterwards just follow the instructions of the installation program.

Internet explorer says that you are not a trusted site. Is downloading safe?
Yes. Since Windows XP service pack 2 this message comes when you download from sites that do not apply to the rules Micro$oft dictates. To get rid of this message Micro$oft wants us to do things we don't want to do, don't have time for and cannot afford. If you still don't feel good about it you can also download Zultrax P2P from one of the many references and shareware libraries that offer the program. You can find them
here.
(As advised by many experts: You could also use another web browser, like
firefox
or
opera
.)

Do I always get the latest version?
Yes, if you downloaded Zultrax P2P from our site it is always the latest version. Many references also update immediately. Once Zultrax P2P is installed it will not update itself automatically. You can use "Check for new version" in the menu tools to see if there is a new version. If there is Zultrax P2P will offer to download and install it.

Do I need to configure my firewall or router?
Yes, in many cases this is needed. Zultrax P2P by default looks for Internet-access using port 6346. This port should be open otherwise Zultrax P2P won't work. Some routers only block incoming connections, in that case you can use the program but it cannot give the highest performance. You find additional information in the
manual.
