Privacy protection
We want to make file sharing anonymous. With the ZEPP protocol Zultrax P2P introduces a way of sharing and downloading files in which your privacy is protected.
Be aware that we do NOT guarantee or promise you a total privacy. All measurements we take to protect you are technical and can be hacked. We just give them a damned hard time.
Most of those who want to spy on what you are doing have commercial means by that. Making it hard to spy on you is making it expensive and that is a point on which they are truly sensitive . . ..
The spies
Some companies, organizations and governments feel the need to keep track on what individual citizens are doing on the Internet. Especially private organizations and companies have no business on sneaking around on your PC and checking your data traffic.
None of them ever is caught doing that in order to benefit you. In best case they just want to make use of you. Sometimes intentions are even worse. Zultrax P2P is constantly in a battle to keep them out where possible and otherwise send them back with only useless or false information.

. . . . . . We can do a lot in helping you to protect your privacy but always consider that it is still possible that someone, somewhere is writing down what you are doing right now . .. .. .

Gnutella
Note that Zultrax P2P supports both the Gnutella file sharing network and the Zepp networks. Gnutella has no privacy protection features whatsoever. In the "settings" page within Zultrax P2P you can choose yourself if you want to use Zultrax P2P on only one of both networks or on both networks. Gnutella comes with a far larger network than Zepp but Zepp comes with privacy protection features. You can make the choice yourself.

Be Good
As almost any tool or device Zultrax P2P can also be used for forbidden activities. In different countries there are different laws related to file sharing, concerning the exchange of pornography, copyrighted materials, political statements, insults to the president and/or uncensored expressions, and so on, and so on.
Do not feel encouraged in any way to cross the limits of the law because you can do so in relative privacy.
We strongly suggest that you only act within the limits of the laws of the country you are in.
